Honoring our potluck tradition
Historically, Minnesota Holistic Nurses Association has kicked off each year with an August potluck. This year, we're honoring that tradition with a virtual gathering on Thursday, August 19 at 6:30 - 8 PM.
Join us from the comfort of your own space as we connect through meaningful conversations within the holistic nursing community.
Feel free to enjoy your favorite potluck meal or snack, and maybe you'll collect new recipes from others along the way!
What's on the menu?
Connect with the Twin Cities' holistic community
Please join our virtual holistic community event to share and learn what nurses are doing to bring holistic and integrative nursing into healthcare and into our communities in the Twin Cities metro area.
Come to share your own experience and come to learn from others. You will also have an opportunity to connect in small breakout groups.
Holistic nursing philosophy of social conditions
The holistic philosophy of nursing recognizes that social conditions such as racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, ageism, transphobia, sizeism, and Islamophobia have direct impacts on health. Racism has been declared a public health crisis.
We as an organization are continuing to invite ourselves to deepen knowledge and action to address racism, bias, and discrimination in our organization, in ourselves individually, and in our community and workplaces.
You will be invited to share that next one step you are doing to address this part of the holistic philosophy of nursing.
Everyone is welcome, registration is free, and attendees can earn 1.5 contact hours!
We look forward to seeing you there!
